KRAFTON India Launches BGMI Survivor League, Putting 50 Creators on One Leaderboard and Fans in Charge of Who Wins

The ambitious 30-day creator competition carries a massive ₹70 lakh prize pool and runs until November 17. In a groundbreaking twist, fans earn points for their chosen creator through daily play and in-game missions, directly dictating the final standings.

New Delhi, 22 October 2026: KRAFTON India has officially launched the highly anticipated BGMI Survivor League, a 30-day competitive marathon that places 50 of BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA’s most established and rapidly emerging content creators onto a single, fiercely contested leaderboard. Breaking away from traditional esports formats, the Survivor League empowers the fan community to actively participate and decide the final order of the rankings. The League officially opened its doors on October 18 and will run non-stop until November 17, 2026.

The event features a substantial ₹70 lakh total prize pool that will be distributed across all 50 participating creators. The ultimate champion who secures the first-place finish will walk away with a grand prize of ₹12 lakh. Underscoring KRAFTON's commitment to supporting creators at all levels, even the lower ranks are guaranteed a payout, with a minimum of ₹50,000 going to the creators who finish at the bottom of the standings.

Power to the Players: How Fans Control the Leaderboard

The unique mechanics of the Survivor League mean that fans are not just spectators—they actively participate directly inside the BGMI app. Each player pledges their allegiance by joining one creator’s team. From there, they play daily matches and complete specific in-game missions. The points earned by the fans' grind count directly towards that specific creator’s overall rank. With standings updated every single week, the format drives intense daily engagement and fierce competition across the entire community.

The 50 selected creators boast a staggering combined reach of 69.7 million subscribers across their platforms. To ensure a dynamic ecosystem, KRAFTON has divided them into four distinct tiers based on their existing subscriber base. This ranges from the five "Elite" creators who possess more than 4 million subscribers, all the way down to 22 rising creators who hold between 100,000 and 500,000 subscribers. Despite the massive differences in audience size, all 50 creators compete on the exact same leaderboard, utilizing historic rivalries, public call-outs, and live stream reactions to rally their communities to grind harder.

Tournament Phases & The Crucial Transfer Window

Running as part of the overarching mega-campaign titled The Final Mahayudh: Survivor League, the competition is structured to maintain high tension over the full month, moving through three distinct strategic phases:

  • The Group Stage: This opening phase ranks all 50 creators on a weekly basis based purely on the volume and quality of their community's in-game performance.
  • The Switch: In a brilliant strategic twist, fans are granted a temporary window to defect to a different creator’s team—taking all their hard-earned points with them. This crucial transfer window opens on the weekend of October 24 and 25, guaranteeing massive leaderboard shakeups as creators scramble to poach top grinders from their rivals.
  • The Grand Finale: The ultimate stretch that decides the final order among the top creators on the leaderboard. Results will be officially announced after the event closes and all fan scores are rigorously verified by KRAFTON.
“Creators have always had fans in BGMI. What we have built here is a way for those fans to affect where their creator finishes. The minutes a player puts in and the missions they complete each day add to a creator’s score, and for one weekend they can change sides and take their points along. We have kept the tone competitive and playful, and the final order will come from how the community plays.”

— Srinjoy Das, Director, Marketing and BGMI Product Management, KRAFTON India

While the ₹70 lakh prize money is distributed exclusively among the 50 content creators, participating fans are heavily incentivized with exclusive in-game rewards for their daily efforts. KRAFTON has explicitly noted that the Survivor League remains a strictly skill-based video game contest played entirely within the BGMI app; fans do not stake money or pay any entry fees to take part in the event.
